Mostly gruesome, slightly comic.

The Impostors (1999) 50%
Nostalgic farce with writing much less inspired than its casting.
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 (2014) 50%
Everything that you would expect half a movie to be.
Rise of the Planet of the Apes (2011) 70%
Better than expected. Probably as good as a glorified B-movie will get. Director and/or screenwriter has obviously seen “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest”.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1 (2010) 60%
As expected. Glad I waited to view both parts in one sitting.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 (2011) 60%
Decent, as expected.
Drive (2011) 70%
Great thriller with a good story and emotion; slightly less action than sufficient. Opening scene is awesome.
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire (2013) 50%
Logically impaired mash-up of ideas the author liked in other media.
The Hangover Part II (2011) 20%
Disappointing. Felt like being spoon-fed leftovers. The last half-hour is brutal, and on the whole is a waste of the cast.
Catch .44 (2011) 0%
Terrible. Calling it “grindhouse” is just an attempt at slotting a movie so bad it defies categorization.
